If curious about anything, never be afraid to ask for help. The team I worked with were always willing to help out whenever feeling lost or confused and never let anyone deal with anything on their own.

What I liked

Let me start by saying I actually love my job, I get to go to work and learn everyday. I work in warehouse but I excel in the video game area. Do I know everything about my department? Absolutely not but I will do my best Each and everyday. I’ve made a lot of great friends and it really feels like a family. I love the customer conversations, granted I’ve had some bad and weird ones but 99% of you customers are really cool people.

What I wish was different

I wish I had start off in another department like home theater or something because warehouse is the most stressful position but I’m getting used to it

Advice

If you are a college student like me and don’t have anything to do in the summer please look for a job or internships. We are young and we are in college and our parents won’t always be there to by us food and clothes and the things we want, that’s a way of life. Best Buy is a very awesome job to start off with it’s hit great people and the over all job is amazing with great pay.

Community/environment was friendly and easygoing. Pay and benefits were very good. Job was fairly easy.

What I wish was different

Although in many ways it's nice to have an easy job, it did become rather boring and monotonous. I wish there would have been more variety to the job.

Be willing to accept different opportunities. I didn't actually apply for Asset Protection, but they were willing to offer me that position in lieu of the one I actually applied for.

I wish Best Buy had been more generous in scheduling coworkers to give you a hand on the job. Frequently I would find myself feeling all alone because they wanted to cut costs and have fewer labor hours, meaning my job got much harder.
