What I liked
The fact that I get to nerd out with as well as teach clients about technology. The discount for someone who loves technology is a doubled-edged sword in which its great for fufilling your desire to have more technology but not for your wallet.
What I wish was different
There definitely needs to be a bigger push in making it easier for college students to balance their time working there while in school. A flexible schedule provided by Best Buy while nice it is not perfect considering that closing times and part time hour requirments can come in conflict with class scheduling.

I enjoyed having a consistent schedule and being able to work mornings while having afternoons free. Employee benefits were also good. Management was flexible with hours.

I wish there had been less emphasis on constantly reorganizing existing merchandise.

Best Buy was a great place to work at. The people around you really want you to succeed and they will provide the support and resources needed to help you do that. The culture is fantastic and it really did feel like one big team.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had known earlier what I was getting myself into and getting the opportunity to work with other interns. When there are so many interns, it would have been nice to get the chance to work with them.
Advice
I think it is imperative to be open to anything. Being an intern is a great way to get yourself exposed to so many different parts of a business even if you are not directly working on that team and Best Buy is no different.
