After moving to Atlanta I had no one I could be with or talk to. The YMCA gave me a family that I needed during the hardest moments of my life.

I wish I didn’t have to leave my friends behind in Maine where I grew up. But you can’t change everything, and I love my job in Atlanta as well.

Be open to change, don’t be afraid to make new friends or to leave old ones.
