High level of interaction with employee. Both investing interns had mentors that were active analysts.

What I wish was different

It would have been awesome to be more clear on a return offer but I understand they are not always actively hiring.

Advice

Get to know as many of the analysts as possible and just ask as many questions as you can.

The people I worked with were extremely kind and willing to teach me anything I did not know. My team listened to me and valued my opinions.

What I wish was different

I wish the internship had been longer.

Advice

Never be afraid to ask questions or admit you are stuck on a problem. You can learn a lot if you just ask.

I wish the commute had been less, but honestly that's my own fault.

Advice

Don't despair if you don't hear back immediately. It took The Fool a month to respond for me, and it was the best summer experience I have had so far
