What I liked

The staff was wonderful and easy to get along with. They were an efficient team that worked well together, and helped clients portray exactly what they wanted to.

What I wish was different

I wish I had been able to be more hands on with the clients and the branding we created around them. I felt a bit removed from the designing aspect, which is what I was really desiring in this internship. I spent most of the time learning about the clients and creating social media posts, that didn't actually get used on their social media with no real feedback on whether it was a good design or not.

Advice

Go in with an open mind. I was supposed to intern with two other people and they ended up leaving almost immediately, either because it wasn't the experience they were hoping for or they got hired somewhere else. I didn't get to do exactly what I wanted to do in this position but I'm still grateful for the experience in a real life creative environment in the workplace.
