I gained a lot of valuable skills including curation work as well as event planning.
What I wish was different
I wish that it were a bit more structured. I majority of my work was very sporadic with no clear theme.
Advice
This job is rich with education about African American History and a very wholesome and inclusive way.

Advice
I got this internship by taking a chance and reaching out to the museum personally. I wanted to make sure to find something I was passionate about doing over the summer. Make sure you apply yourself and you will find the opportunity you are looking for!
