What I liked
The personal reward from seeing progression within my client’s lives. Spending time playing with children in a natural setting.
What I wish was different
I wish that I would have been able to stay with the same clients during the new semester. We created very deep bonds that allow for lots of progression within therapy.
Advice
It’s not a job made for everyone - you really have to know your own limits when it comes to working with people who have disabilities.
