I loved the experience I gained in serval different areas. I enjoyed working with other people who were in the more tedious positions and learning from their past experiences including mistakes or new skills.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have went to school full time rather than part time.
Advice
Focus on school first then choose to work a full time job.

What I liked
The company was very understanding with my school schedule and the work was never too stressful. I got to help everyone within the quality department from the assistants to the quality director. Quality is a major factor with pharmaceuticals and so it was a great experience being able to observe and understand why certain decisions were made and what is expected within the industry.
What I wish was different
Training can be a bit lacking or nonexistent. The facility operates through SOPs or standard operating procedures and your first week is just reading through all the chapters followed by on the job training.
Advice
Technical writing is very important. Everything the company performs has to be documented in case the FDA or any other agency performs an audit. Everything needs to be proven and accounted for the patient’s safety. Therefore, knowing how to write and also communicate to others is highly important.
