What I liked

There was this almost this type of being alone job and it was very easy to pace myself while working for Walmart. I felt like no one was ever holding me back from completing a job or stopping me from doing more. I really liked this job's atmosphere from a lot of the employees as we got along well and the teamwork shown here is really nicely contrasted so it feels like I was given even time to do both individual work and group work. I felt this partial family environment also as sometimes if I got a couple of gatorades it was almost like oh ok these people care about my work.

What I wish was different

There wasn't really a lot of leverage that a boss can have over an employee in that situation. With the worker shortage due to COVID and the job location, I felt that sometimes the bosses at the location didn't really have control over some of the employees. I felt some of the employees couldn't really be disciplined and when they were off task or descending to employees like myself there really was nothing to do.

Advice

It's really what you want to get out of it. It's not this type of job that is meant for those with a negative mindset but I felt like the job was able to pass easily as the job was very dynamic at times with some of the different tasks I would do.
